How to Add Addresses, and Units, or Suites to a Property

In this article we will go over how to add an Address, Multiple Addresses, Units and Suites to a Property.

NOTE:  Addresses/Units are one of the minimum mandatory features that must be added to every property so that users can report from the Silvertrac App.  You will first have to have the Property already added in the Issue Monitor to add addresses and units.

If you have not already added the Property you wish to add the Address to, please go back and complete this step first before continuing:

Add a New Property

How to Add a Single Address

Hover over the Properties tab Property Maintenance Select Property Edit Property  select the property Addresses/Units Add new Address

Here, you have two options: (1) adding a single Address or (2) adding multiple Addresses.

 Adding a Single Address

To add a single Address simply fill out the required fields and click Add Address.

NOTE: the Address Type field defaults to Apartment/Condo. You can change it in drop-down to Commercial, Pay Parking Lot, or Residential Home.  If the Property is not covered by those options, such as a Hotel, School, Construction Site, etc., you can select Other.

How to Add Multiple Addresses

To add multiple Addresses make sure the check box in the top right corner labeled Add Range is selected (as pictured below).

This section will allow you to generate multiple Addresses for a specific Property.

  1. Fill out out the required fields on the left side of the screen.

  2. Use the next 2 boxes to generate Addresses based on pattern parameters. Adjusting these fields will allow you to generate a list of Addresses that escalate according to a specific pattern.

  3. The box labeled Manual Range allows you to enter multiple Addresses numbers manually. Be sure to separate the numbers by a comma only, NO SPACES.

Once the Addresses are added they will appear in a list on the next screen.

Adding Units or Suites

Hover over the Properties tab Property Maintenance Select Property Edit Property  select the property Addresses/Units Add new Address select the Address Add Units

In the Add New Units pop up box you can either use the unit list generator or manually enter the Units or Suites  in the box below.

NOTE: When Adding Units or Suites  manually, be sure to separate the Units or Suites by a comma only.  Do not use spaces.

When you have finished entering the Units or Suites, click Add Units.

Be sure to double check that the Units or Suites are formatted correctly.

Once the Units or Suites have been added to an Address you can view them in the box on the right hand side of the screen (pictured above).
