In this article we will go over the general System Config settings and options.
NOTE: Only a System Admin has access to the System Config drop down and can adjust the settings and edit the options.
To access the System Config hover over the System Tab >> click System Config
The System Config Page is divided into several Sub Tabs:
System Config - General
System Config - General
Section 1: Hide Home Page Menu Bar
Leaving the Hide Home Page Menu Bar box un-checked will allow your client's residents and tenants to access the Home Page Menu Bar and report Security Parking or Maintenance issues without logging onto the portal.
Checking the Hide Home Page Menu Bar will remove this option from the portal login page.
Section 2: Basic Information Fields
Home Page Menu Link Name: Titles the resident / tenant access when the Hide Home Page Menu Bar is un-selected. In the above screen shot the Home Page Menu Link Name field is titled "Resident Area Home".
Return URL on Logout: a URL in this field will redirect a user to that URL when they log off of the portal.
Dispatch Phone Number: Add a specific designated phone number and ext for a dispatch / call center.
Dispatch Phone Number Guards: Add a specific designated phone number and ext for a dispatch / call center for Guard use only.
Time Zone: (drop-down) Select the Time Zone you want the reported issues to be reported in. Issues reported will be GPS date and time stamped to the server based on the device settings and they will display ion the issue monitor based on the Time Zone selected.
Contact Company Name: You can use a full legal name or any acronyms or alias you prefer.
Contact Address: Your mailing or billing Address
Contact City, State, Zip: Your mailing or billing City, State and Zip Code
Contact Email: Your preferred email contact for primary Silvertrac correspondence
Contact Phone Number: Your preferred phone number for primary Silvertrac direct contact
Handheld Photo Timestamp Text: Photos taken in the Silvertrac App are date and time stamped. This field will include a brief company name or initials.
Section 3: Advanced Set Up

Section 4: Portal Set Up Options
Home Page Message: Create or Edit the content on the login screen that your customers and their residents/tenants see. This could be brief overview of your companies strengths, core values, mission statement, etc.
Mobile Device Login Message: A custom Alert! note/message an App user sees when first successfully logging onto the app that they must acknowledge before logging onto a route or property. i.e. "Welcome! Don't forget to clock in and take your mandatory lunch and breaks"
Hide Drop Down City Selector: If this box is checked and if given the option, and without longing onto your portal residents/tenants can report issues looking up their property by City. If the box is selected the residents/tenants would look up their property by property name.
Property Find Example Text: Provide quick clear instructions for resident/tenants reporting an issue via the drop down options i.e. "Select Your Property" Select Your Select"
External URL Links: These allow your customer's residents/tenants to link directly to Security Parking and Maintenance reporting pages.
System Config - Notifications
Resend Notification Alerts for Unacknowledged Issues (Priority 1) Drop Down Option allows for an Admin to select a second Notification Alert to be sent if the first Priority 1 Notification Alert was not acknowledged in a specific number of minutes.
Resend Notification Alerts for Unacknowledged Issues (Priority 2) Drop Down Options allows for an Admin to select a second Notification Alert to be sent if the first Priority 2 Notification Alert was not acknowledged in a specific number of minutes.
Resend Notification Alerts for Unacknowledged Issues (Priority 3) Drop Down Options allows for an Admin to select a second Notification Alert to be sent if the first Priority 3 Notification Alert was not acknowledged in a specific number of minutes.
System Config - Email
Due to increasing email/spam enforcement policies it is NOT recommended that you change edit or customize the From Email Address in any of the categories: New Order, New Issue, or Appeals.
Using the default email@example.com ensures that Silvertrac can track all emails sent from their servers, including Bounces and Rejections due to "Customer Polices" and assist in white listing efforts by a customers IT Dept or email host.
System Config - Parking
This section is used in conjunction with the Advanced Parking Module only.
System Config - Logos
Main Page Logo (550x70 px) Click on the Choose File box to upload a Company Logo that will appear at the top left of each URL page.
Report Header Logo (Ratio of 8x to 1y pixels) Click on the Choose File box to upload a Company Logo that will appear at the top left of each report.
